Where and When?

Café Church takes place in The Cornerstone Centre on Eaton Road North on the third Sunday of the month and every Sunday in August. Doors open at 10am and worship starts at 10:30am.

What Can I Expect?

Café Church is a more contemporary, lively, yet relaxed, style of worship.

We open our doors at 10am – help yourself to freshly brewed filter coffee, tea and juices, croissants, pastries and fruit (plus other tasty treats). There is no charge, but we ask that you consider making a donation towards costs where possible.

You can sit around tables, or on seats around the edge of the room.

Our worship starts at 10:30am – our songs are modern, our prayers are short, we have a ‘get you thinking’ slot (which could be a drama, activity or game), and our message is short and relevant to our lives today.

During worship we ‘pause’ for a break – refill your drink, help yourself to cake and you are invited to write prayer requests.

Worship usually finishes around 11:30am.

What About Children?

We welcome everyone!

At Café Church we tend to sit around tables. There are crayons and colouring sheets on the tables, and a box of books for children to borrow from. The service is visual, lively and there are lots of opportunities for the children to take part, should they wish.

We have ear defenders available for children who prefer a little less noise.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are! God doesn’t give us a dress code! Wear what makes you feel comfortable – it’s you we want to welcome, not your wardrobe!
